Whatcha doin'

I have been neglecting this blog. So, here is yet another post filling in some gaps.

Rob and I went to the Cinerama Dome in Hollywood to see a movie. We were chagrined when we realized hadn't been to the movies in over a year.

We were among the multitudes that went to see Star Trek on opening weekend.

I loved the movie. Then again, I am a bit biased. I'm a fan of J J Abrams. After all, I am one of the few people that enjoyed Cloverfield. It doesn't hurt that I've been friends with a few trekkies and trekkers for a very long time. {Waves "hi" at Neleh}

In the lobby of the Cinerama Dome, they had a few props on display.

While I was busy working, Rob was spending his free time hiking and trekking around our local mountains.

He went hiked to the top of Mount Baldy.

He took our mongrel Dottie with him.

Shortly after the above photo was taken, Dottie got a leg cramp and sat down. She unknowingly sat in a fire anthill. She was covered in ant bites and couldn't walk. Rob ended up having to hike the rest of the way down with Dottie on his back. {My hero!}

Although, don't let those adventure photos fool you. Those two did a lot of this...

Of course, we aren't starving. Here are some of the meals that Rob has made.
